I often reflect on when I first started taking music-making seriously. A few years later and I'm planning my entire future around the notion that we WILL make it. How does that future look a quarter century from now?
lyrics
All I think when all I see is them from then who were just like me and
Wading in three inch while I'm in the deep end telling me school was the best damn thing is,
"I can imagine it. I could've had it. 'Stead I went and dedicated life to a passion."
"Man, that's tragic. How can you cash in?" You know, I never thought about it time just passed and
'Fore I knew it I was this deep in didn't ever clock in for the time we spent
But I would never try to go rewind it, man 'cause I know I don't really wanna wind up in
Some nine-to-five where I might retire 'til then guess I gotta try to rise
Through a corporate latter aint a story sadder than me kinda wondering about "...if I'd've tried."
But now I got a ball rolling so now I'm gonna go all in or
Turn back now to a blurred background with a story and a heart broken
I know I can do it I feel it but in truth I get self conscious kind of when I do shit
Been called stupid, told I couldn't do this, I'll never make a living off of music
But I've been doing this since 'fore my late teens reciting in the mirror and in front of blank screens
Checking the reflection of what they'd see but now I look at all of it and what may be
It's a risk and I gotta roll the dice knowing that I'm runnin in a maze with the mice
I don't really see another way for my life everyday give it away to the vice
Where do I see myself in twenty-five years
Hopefully going on tour no where 'round here
'Round the world back again and with some[thing] y'all hear
Having the time of the life I'm living out yea
I had a hard time when I wrote this song I wrote this verse first now the road it's on
Long one ahead of it it won't be long til it's all set, done, and I'm going on
To the next thing that I'll be investing working on my phone until I break my text screen
Writing what I found to be interesting 'til I'm in the booth mic check one, testing
'Til I'm through with writing I'm cool just reciting in a room that I'm hiding
But then I gotta go and make moves and I'm outtie probably be writing another groove for the Audi-
tory Emporium pouring at 4 AM thoughts that'll pop when I'm poorly recording them
Everybody choose[s] how their origin story ends
then it can be told by the boring historians
So what's it like running with the hype from a crowd of a thousand to kill it with tonight?
I wouldn't know but the other night I had a good show when I went up on the mic
Now I gotta get a dedicated guest line 'cause the crowd that I bring in effects my set time
Plus I'm getting sick of doing this kind of show I know, it's humbling it's fine
But I'm getting older and I kind of thought I'd be a bigger name in the game I know when it's on me
To buckle down, not fuck around and come in off beat, but to kill it like a villain you're feeling when off screen
And I don't know where all of it'll go if anyone'll hear it or nobody'll know
But it's a goal that I wanna go through with true shit so I gotta know

It's freaking phenomenal, that's why. I listen to Omniverse every single day several times but that's no0t to say there aren't some fantastic rivals to that song such as Broken Symmetry, Defiant, Spectacle,5th, .8, Frame of Reference, Beachfront & Interdimensional Council of Greys icarusignite

I've got Metaphor Swordman on lock but there are some rad tracks here such as Flower Girl, Prison Planet, Dopamine Notes, .7, Snowflakes & Flowsnakes. Lyrically eschelons above the rest. icarusignite
